THE TEAM

Mr. Rosenfeld is an Industrial and Management Engineer. He graduated from Israel’s prestigious Technion-Israel Institute Technology and has been active since 1969 in the Pharma industry in Israel and abroad. Mr. Rosenfeld served as General Manager of of Schering Plough USA subsidiaries in Europe and South Africa. Between 1985-1995 he was Chief Operating Officer of Teva Pharmaceuticals, and since 1996 he has been active in different business activities both in Israel and abroad.

Mr. Lichi is one of DATA Technologies’ founders. He specializes in matching products to consumer demand and is involved in the product design and development from the conceptual stage through to production. As CEO, Mr. Lichi continues to guide the direction of the company and has been involved in the development of new tools for several industries.

Ido Weinstein joined DATA after more than a decade with Teva Pharmaceuticals where he held senior managerial positions in the commercial and business development fields, bringing with him vast experience in international dealing and commercial expertise. Ido holds a BA in Economics and East Asian Studies from the Hebrew University and MA in International Business and Finance form Reading University.

Ofer Cohen has both a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. He brings more than 13 years of executive and finance experience in Kibbutz Ramat Rachel to DATA. He has been with DATA since its inception and manages all aspects of accounting, including promotion of investor relations.

With more than 53 years of experience in Israel’s industry and academia, Zvi Weinberger is a senior member of DATA’s development team. Zvi has developed or assisted in the development of numerous industrial patents and participated in the founding of the Jerusalem College of Technology. He served as its president from 1985-1993. Later, Zvi also served as Chairman of the College’s Department of Applied Physics. In addition to his strong affiliation with JCT, Zvi also taught advanced optics at the Hebrew University and was a founder of the Haredi Center for Technological Studies in 1996. Zvi has brought his long time knowledge and experience to DATA, where he took the position of Chief Technology Officer.

Mr. Shomer is the Manager of DATA Technologies R&D Department. He brings more than 15 years experience in research, development and academic positions at the Lev Institute in Jerusalem to his current responsibilities. Prior to joining the DATA team, he was responsible for developing equipment for several industries, including medical devices. Mr. Shomer’s expertise includes lasers, fiber-optics, and developing detectors.

Ari Tidhar is DATA Technologies' Project Manager. As a software engineer, he has been responsible for developing the software applications for the Diamond Count and VIBE-130 products. He has also contributed to their design, user interface, electrical and mechanical systems. A former diamantaire, Mr. Tidhar has a degree in Computer Science and has worked for major Israeli high-tech companies such as Verint (Comverse Infosys).
