Seeds - Overview

In 2009, DATA Technologies customized its counting product line to address the needs of the Seed industry. Over a span of several months, the company adapted its machines to suit the operational processes of seed production. Currently, DATA offers several models geared to the tasks of counting and packaging seeds. Responding to requests by major users, the company examines solutions that can dramatically change conventional packaging operations in the industry.

Our products are built to deliver accuracy and speed, minimize errors or mistakes in packaging and provide cost-effective manufacturing solutions. While many comparable products may deliver speed of processing or accuracy and precision, DATA Technologies products are based on the concept that it is possible to deliver both without compromising either. DATA solutions can process up to 10,000 seeds per minute at an extremely high accuracy rating (at last 99.5%).

Unable to accurately count large quantities of seeds, current manufacturing principles include packing extra quantities of seeds per package to ensure that the buyer receives, at minimum, the proper amounts. Employing DATA's advanced machines, seed manufacturers can accurately package the correct numbers, offering enormous cost-savings. DATA solutions quickly achieve payback within a period of several months up to two years (depending on the type of seeds and quantities processed).

DATA has developed a very fast and accurate multi-channel counting head (capable of delivering up to 36 packs of 1000 tomato seeds per minute) for manufacturers and integrators of packaging lines. It is expected that this latest product will be available in the near future.

So far, the company has introduced five commercial products to the market:

• DATA COUNT S JR is a compact automatic seed counting machine that addressing addresses the needs and financial budgetary limitations capabilities of small- to medium-sized companies.
• DATA COUNT S 25 is an automated counting machine capable of tallying quantities of seeds accurately and quickly.
• DATA COUNT S 60 is the fastest and most accurate seed counting machine available. It quickly and accurately enables the user to pack seeds of all sizes by the actual number required.
• DATA COUNT & FILL S 25 is an automatic counter that quickly and accurately counts both limited numbers and large quantities of seeds as they are packed directly into bags.
• DATA COUNT S 660 is a Multi- Channel counting system designed to count massive quantities of seeds and thus ideally suited to key players in the seeds industry who need to pack hundreds of millions of seed packages every season.
